Meet Kayelyn

Kayelyn, Professional Counselor at Keller Child and Family Therapy

Hello and welcome! I’m Kayelyn, and I’m so glad you’re here. Feelings can be complicated, sometimes overwhelming, and knowing what to do with them isn’t always easy. In my practice, I’m here to help individuals and families build a deeper understanding of their emotions to create more gentle, caring relationships with themselves and others. With greater awareness of our emotions, we’re better able to build self-confidence, communicate openly, manage stress, and strengthen the connections that mean the most to us. Each of us is born as a deeply feeling, social being, always seeking belonging and connection.

Meet Susan

Each person possesses a unique healing power and intelligence that resides within, that guides their distinctive, mysterious, and evolving growth path. My approach to therapy honors an individual’s ability to connect with their inner wisdom that leads to their unique healing power. Knowing that mind, body, and spirit are intimately interconnected and are essential aspects of each of us, I honor the whole person and consider mind, body, and spirit in context and relationship rather than work with these elements in isolation. We are often faced with uncertainty in life, and individuals strive for a sense of meaning. The patterning of life events may heighten feelings of helplessness and confusion. Biologically, our nervous systems are designed in such a way that the brain and body automatically configure and store incoming stimuli into meaning-making patterns. These meaning-making patterns may contribute to heightened states of stress.
